Prohibited:
• Pets (except for service animals)
• Hammocks
• Totems, flags, banners, lawn stakes
• Tents, canopies, shade structures, umbrellas (staked or golf)
• Balloons
• Noise makers
• Laser pointers
• All metal knives and cutlery (plastic/compostable cutlery ARE allowed)
• Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, personal motorized vehicles (exception ADA mobility devices)
• Drones, hoverboards, motorized toys
• Professional grade walkie-talkies or radios
• Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors
• Unauthorized solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, samples, giveaways, etc.
• Illegal and illicit substances of any kind including drugs or drug paraphernalia
• Firearms, explosive, weapons of any kind *(including pocket knives, pepper spray, fireworks, etc)
• Open flames
• Any item deemed dangerous by Security
• Outside alcohol is prohibited at some Millennium Park summer events, see list below under food & beverage
Refund Policy: All ticket sales are final. No Refunds. No exchanges.
Lost and Found : The festival is not liable for lost or stolen goods. We will have a guest services tent where people can turn in / claim items.
Waste management: All trash must be deposited into the provided bins. Bins will be located throughout the park. Clean events mean more events.
Smoking Policy :No smoking outside of designated smoking areas.
ICE Policy: Under Elgin's Resolution: City properties cannot be used to support or assist in civil immigration enforcement unless required by law or court order.
City departments will post clear signage on all city-owned properties, in English and Spanish, stating that they cannot be used for civil immigration enforcement.
City staff who become aware of any attempted or actual use of city property for immigration enforcement must immediately report it to their supervisor. The supervisor must then alert the City Manager or a designated official. Our Security Guards will be asked to not allow ANY ENTRANCE OF ICE AGENTS.
Weather Policy: Rain or Shine: The festival generally proceeds during rain; however, lightning or severe storms will trigger pauses or cancellations. If severe weather approaches, attendees may be asked to shelter in place or evacuate.
